What time are Sunday services?
9 a.m. and 11 a.m. However, at 11 a.m. we have two services running simultaneously — one is in our West Auditorium and the other in the South Auditorium. We have a “campus” approach. Each has a different pastor, worship leader and teaching. We tell folks to try out all three, or even better, go to more than one on any given Sunday. We also offer an 11:40 Café Teaching that is more like traditional Sunday school for adults. It is taught by a variety of leaders and lay people.
Where is Vineyard located?
Do you have a nursery?
Yes! It is staffed by adult women who are qualified and gifted with little ones, and who have passed our Criminal Background checks. Parents have easy access and can view nursery at any point during service through the one-sided window.
Do you have Sunday school for my kids?
We think your kids will love our Sunday school program starting with toddlers at age 2 through 5th graders. By using a state-of-the-art KidCheck program, each child is individually checked in each Sunday and only parents with the proper authorization can retrieve their children. Our teachers also have been screened and passed a criminal background check.
What about for the teens?
We are a family and teens are part of our main services — in ministering to one another, worshiping together and being equipped through the teaching. See our Youth page for more info on Youth Ministry during the week.
What can I expect when I walk through the door?
A friendly face. A Newcomer’s folder — if this is your first time — a fresh cup of coffee and an opportunity to enjoy the presence of God.
Are the services different?
Yes, but only in those who are leading. The Vineyard “flavor” of casual, contemporary worship and solid teaching is universal.
Will I be singled out in any way?
Not unless you want to be. (smile)
What is a typical service like?
We begin with 30 minutes of music and worship, and then take a 5-7 minute break for parents to take children to class, for a quick coffee, to chat with a friend or meet new people. Then we have teaching for about 35 minutes. The service lasts 1 1/2 hours.
What kind of clothes should I wear?
Is the campus a safe place?
Yes! We have approved security personnel working our cameras every Sunday and Wednesday night (during youth activities). We hire sheriff’s deputies and retired law enforcement and have security cameras campus-wide in our facilities.
Will someone contact me after I attend?
No — unless you want us to! There are connect cards in a pocket behind each chair in the West Auditorium. If you want to be contacted, please check that box and turn the card in. We want to honor your privacy.
Is there anything else I should know?
On our campus, we have an amazing playground that is also open to the community. Parking is plentiful, both in the back of the building and front. We have specifically marked parking for families with young children, and of course, handicapped spots. There are 3 main entrances to the building, all of which have the KidCheck computers available for quick and easy check-in of your children. We also have a covered pavilion where we hold summer picnics, youth and children’s events, and anything else we can think of! There is a grassed “Greenbelt” area that is available for our teens, children and families as well.
