There will be a baptism at Port Royal Park, 28 Sept 2008, at 2 pm. CVCF will provide drinks for those who wish to stay & picnic.  Maps will be available.
If you wish to be baptized, please talk to Pastor Landon.
 
 

Are you looking for a way to serve at CVCF?

We just might have the thing for you, we need people to help with the coffee ministry, i.e.: set up, make coffee, keep an eye on coffee & supplies during service, clean-up after services.  For more information, see a member of  staff or contact the office at (931) 645-9927.
 
 

Door of Hope Volunteer Counselor Training

Thursday, September 11th, from 10 AM to Noon, the Door of Hope began volunteer counselor training.  If you are interested in training to be a volunteer counselor at the Door of Hope Center for Women’s Ministries, it in not too late to start.  For more information, contact Pat McKenzie-Buck.

Attention Parents of Girls ages 6-9 ! ! !

Is your little girl wanting to learn how to dance as a way to worship the Lord?  Lauri Tippit is interested in starting a dance team with young girls, ages 6-9.  If your child(ren) is/are interested, please contact Lauri Tippit.

October 6th through November 15th, Wade Huffman & Jim Waldron are going to the Sudan.

The Cotterell’s are taking several families to Reynosa, Mexico to the Josiah Bethany Children’s home, October 11th - 19th.

2008 Dessert Banquet for the Hope Pregnancy Center

Tuesday, October 21st is the Dessert Banquet for the Hope Pregnancy Center from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the APSU Mass Communication Building (8th & Marion St.)  RSVP is required.  For more information, contact Mat Lasater or the HPC at (931) 645-2273.

Two-by-Two Outreach
 
Outreach and Evangelism opportunities continue going out into the Clarksville community ministering to people where they are on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  If you would like to participate on either of these days, please sign up at the table in the back of the auditorium or contact Nathan Elledge.

Saturday at 11:00 am - A Messianic Jewish service for Jews and Gentiles who worship Christ as Messiah with a Jewish flavor. Kerem Adonai mean "Vineyard of the Lord". Everyone is welcome to attend, and knowing Hebrew is not essential. Greg Ridenour is the primary speaker and is the Site Pastor for Kerem Adonai services.
